According to an LA Times story, a savvy seller in Washington state successfully countered a potential buyer’s low-ball offer after reading how much the buyer loved the home—and how much the buyer was willing to pay. The information had been posted on the potential buyer’s Facebook page.

Moral: If you’re in negotiations, keep a poker face and that includes cyber-silence on popular sites like Facebook.
