Mobile prices falling

Basic mobile services are cheaper in Canada this year.

The cost of the typical basket of mobile services in Canada, including talk, text, call display and voicemail, has fallen roughly 13% in the last year, according to a new report commissioned by Industry Canada and the CRTC. Even data prices are down 5%, the study by Wall Communications Inc. found, while broadband Internet prices fell 6%.
