European debt crisis sinks Canadian currency

The Canadian dollar dropped as investors spooked by shaky debt markets in Europe fled to the relative safety of the U.S. dollar. According to the Globe and Mail, the Canadian dollar sank to 96.58 cents Wednesday, and is now up to around 97 cents.
