  • Parents spend on average, 15 hours a month and $1,658 a year on their kids’ sports, according to a new Investors Group study. Nearly four-in-10 parents said they forgo personal expenditures on shopping and entertainment while 19% have given up family vacations. Why? Roughly 75% of survey participants said they’re investing their time and hard-earned money to foster leadership qualities, discipline and team building skills.
