While doing our taxes is a task that most Canadians dread, getting your documents and forms together early is one of the easiest ways to alleviate financial stress, says H&R Block.

There are a number of reasons for the widespread procrastination that takes hold in late April.  Thanks to a combination of beautiful weather, misplaced slips and receipts, impending payments and outstanding debts many Canadians leave their taxes until the wee hours before deadline.
