If you’re selling your house, photos are the first thing most buyers will see. But why pay upwards of $3,000 to have your home staged when it can be done virtually for a fraction of the cost? With services ranging from $65 to $100 per room, companies like Home Staging Visual and Pro Virtual Staging will photoshop images of your space to include designer furniture and accents meant to capture buyers’ imaginations—and hopefully top dollar for you. Thanks to these low costs, virtually staged homes are now popping up all over the MLS. Just be sure to post before and after shots so buyers don’t feel duped when they drop by your open house.
