We’re putting the finishing touches on the MoneySense 2011 Best Places to Live list. How will your town stack up?

Last year’s winner was Ottawa-Gatineau, and the year before that was Victoria, B.C. It’s a tough title to hold on to, as our methodology digs deep into areas such as real estate prices, taxes, crime, access to health care and unemployment rates. A year can be a long time in the life of a city, long enough to go from bust to boom — or vice versa.

So check back with us tomorrow (March 29th) when we’ll unveil this year’s Best Place to Live. There will be cheers, tears, and popcorn too. It’s going to be awesome.

  1. I hope it’s not Ottawa-Gatineau, because if it is, the rest of the country is screwed. I’ve lived here my whole life and am finding my cost of living, housing prices, and taxation all keep going up and up, while my salary is frozen.

  2. Odd this submit is totaly unrelated to what I used to be looking out google for, but it was listed at the first page. I suppose your doing something proper if Google likes you sufficient to put you on the first page of a non related search.
