The federal Competition Bureau has concerns about the Canadian Real Estate Association’s control of the Multiple Listing Service, the realtor-controlled website with information on homes for sale. The Globe and Mail reports that if the CREA is forced ot open up MLS data to individuals selling their homes on their own, it could shift the balance of power away from realtors.
