I own the property prior to 1995, and I made an election up to and including 1994 to increase the cost base of the property by way of the $100,000 lifetime capital gains exemption . Elected capital gain was $ 36,721.16. Should I report that as CARRY FORWARD OF 2000 CAPITAL GAINS INCLUSION RATE. Or there is another place in tax return form to include elected capital gain.
