Financial resources now available in 140 characters

Along with a new, interactive web site, FCAC starts Tweeting to raise awareness about finances.

Online only.

The Financial Consumer Agency of Canada (FCAC) has revamped their web site and developed a Twitter account and YouTube Channel to draw in more Canadians and help them achieve financial literacy.

Some of the new features focus on Canadian youth – there’s a YouTube video about the dangers of young consumers and credit cards, and the web site includes resources about starting a first job.

The new site design also offers a variety of calculators with the aim of helping consumers to select credit cards, shop for a mortgage, create a budget and choose a bank account.
