  1. What about the Shoppers Optimum MasterCard from Royal Bank? The card provides Optimum points based on the amount spent each month and extra points for money spent at Shoppers Drug Mart. Spend your points when they have a promotion on and you’ll have stretch your points even further. Since they have grocery items now, it’s a perfect card for families!

  2. What about a review for people that don’t spend $2000 a month on a credit card?

  3. Really? #1 you can only use the points accumulated for Rogers stuff, so it would be the worst of the cards, ok maybe put it at #8 on your top 8 list. Can you disclose if you were paid for this product placement?

  4. These cards aren’t very good. The rewards are for propping up retailers who deserve to lose customers. Best buy? Ha, tiger direct and Canada computer’s and even amazon are better. Sears? They’re closing down stores in major cities and have crap products. Worthless cards.

  5. Sorry… it’s a points card. Cash is always king. If they allowed you to redeem points for cash, then you would have a great card.

  6. Most of the reviews seem to concentrate on consumers that spend a lot on avergae with credit cards. How about some more information for the frugal users.
