Employees in Alberta and Saskatchewan will see the juiciest pay raises this year.

  • A new Conference Board study suggests Saskatchewan and Alberta are the places to be to get a raise this year, while salary increases in B.C., Ontario and Quebec will lag. Overall, salaries are expected to rise an average of 3% in Canada in 2013 for non-union employees. Pay raises in resource-rich Saskatchewan and Alberta however will likely be closer to 4%.
