Indexes finish year in positive territory

All but three of the world’s stock exchanges tracked by Bloomberg will finish the year in the black.

Online only.

Last year was a tough one for stock market indices, with most of the world’s indexes ending 2008 off deep in negative territory. Of course, what goes down must also, eventually, go up. In 2009 almost all the indexes tracked by Bloomberg were in the black. Unfortunately, Bahrain, Bermuda and Slovakia weren’t so lucky — these are the only countries that have a big minus sign in front of their year-end exchange numbers.

  1. *applause* You have such a talent for composing; I’m stunned at this story’s beauty! This story holds the greatest third individual view I have examine so far. Not numerous people use it anymore, but you’ve done a fabulous job.

  2. Hmmm Thank you for today’s post, I can’t say I agree completely with it but I agree with it on the most part and I definitely applaud your effort in putting it so ably.
