Calgary posts largest year-over-year price increase

Year-over-year home price increases in Calgary, AB and Hamilton, ON

Statistics Canada just released their Housing Price Index numbers and, according to their numbers, Calgary home prices had the largest year-over-year increase of the 21 cities they survey.

According to StatsCan, 5 cities posted a 12-month price drop (as of September 2014), including: Charlottetown (-1.8%), Victoria (-1.7%), Vancouver (-1.2%), Ottawa/Gatineau (-1.1%) and the combined metropolitan region of Saint John, Fredericton and Moncton (-0.3%).
